American InfoSource Acquires Ascension Capital Group

""American InfoSource LP"":http://www.americaninfosource.com/ (AIS) announced that it has acquired substantially all of the assets of ""Ascension Capital Group, Inc.,"":http://www.acgbk.com/ (ACG).

AIS hopes to combine its experience dealing with unsecured portfolios with ACG's history of secured bankruptcy servicing to create a more comprehensive bankruptcy servicing platform. The acquisition will give AIS the legal and operational resources necessary to offer servicing to secured lenders.

AIS is a Houston-based global financial services company that specializes in the fields of bankruptcy, estate, and debt settlement. ACG is an Arlington, Texas-based firm that manages secured bankrupt accounts for lenders.
