Industry Group Appoints REO Leadership

FORCE 2One of the industry’s biggest professional groups appointed new leaders this week. The Federation of REO Certified Experts—more often referred to as “FORCE”—announced new members to its Advisory Council on Thursday.

According to Annie Collier, Executive Director of FORCE, these new appointees are ready to steer the organization and its members toward success.

“We are proud to announce the newly appointed members of the FORCE Advisory Council,” Collier said. “These experienced members are ready to advance the mission of the FORCE and help promote our reputation throughout the mortgage industry.”

Among the new appointees are Hugh Morrow of RE/MAX Preferred in Birmingham, Alabama; Tara Nagelhout of Emerald Valley Real Estate in Eugene, Oregon; Steve Pagano of Coldwell Banker in Huntington Station, New York; Terry Rasner-Yacenda of Reno Tahoe Realty Group in Reno, Nevada; and Dick Thackston of R.H. Thackston & Company in Winchester, New Hampshire.

Nancy Braun was named Chairperson of the Advisory Council. The owner of Showcase Realty in Charlotte, North Carolina, Braun has 20 years of experience as a real estate broker. She was recently named by Real Trends/Wall Street Journal as the No. 7 agent in the nation based on closed transactions.

“I am honored to be a part of the leadership to aid in implementing the many positive developments the FORCE has chosen to put into effect,” Braun said. “Our leadership team will strive to bring our members valuable resources to assist them in the networking, growth, education, and of course, excellence.”

The FORCE appoints new leadership to its Advisory Council on an annual basis. Braun replaces Mike Ruben Pena, who formerly held the position of Chairperson. In her new position, Braun will “aid in the establishment and aggregation of member-benefitting relationships, as well as to champion progressive FORCE initiatives in the areas of education and diversity,” according to Collier.

According to Ed Delgado, President and CEO of The Five Star Institute, Braun is the perfect fit to lead its ranks.

“I have known Nancy for several years now and have no doubt that she will continue the great work of her predecessors,” Delgado said. “I think Nancy will provide excellent leadership and management of critical topics.”
