NewDay USA Names David Loeser Vice Chairman, EVP of HR

David LoeserNewDay USA, a Maryland-based mortgage lender, announced that David Loeser has been appointed Vice Chairman to the company’s board of advisors and will be serving as EVP of Human Resources. A strategic management and human resources expert with more than 30 years of experience working for top multinational brands, Loeser will lend his skills and expertise to direct the company’s recruiting and staffing efforts.

Most recently, Loeser was SVP Human Resources at Unisys, a global information technology provider, where he was responsible for creating and implementing several initiatives to improve the recruitment, training, evaluation, and retention of more than 22,000 employees. Prior to Unisys, he served in executive roles for Hostess Brands, Continental Airlines, and PepsiCo, among other international companies. He currently serves as the Chairman of the University of South Carolina Advisory Board.

“Dave’s vast experience in the human resources field makes him perfect for the role of vice chairman and executive vice president of human resources,” said NewDay USA CEO Rob Posner. “NewDay USA has become one of the fastest growing lenders in the country, thanks to our unique culture focused on the selection, training, and development of our team. In addition, the company announced plans to accept 160 recent college graduates into NewDay USA University, the company’s unique mortgage training program created to give young professionals the tools and resources they need for a successful mortgage banking career. Almost 100 enrollees currently participate in the company's paid internship program, in which they work for NewDay USA for two weeks in January and once a month during the school year until graduation.
