Collateral Risk Solutions Announces New Product for Lenders

Collateral Risk Solutions (CRS) has launched its new Desktop Evaluation Service, providing a response to demand from lenders for a reliable and economic alternative to field appraisals. According to CEO Joel Meredith, the new technology offering was designed to provide a USPAP compliant appraisal option for home equity lines of credit, loss mitigation, and quality control that meets all inter-agency evaluation and appraisal guidelines.

"The CRS Desktop Evaluation is a reliable valuation alternative that fills the gap between a BPO and a full interior inspection appraisal," Meredith said.

The company commented, "The CRS Desktop Evaluation is prepared by a geographically competent appraiser who assesses information from a variety of reliable data sources; including an exterior third party property inspection report, satellite imagery, MLS data, public record data, and various mapping programs. The report is provided in a succinct, easy to read format with relevant market data prominently displayed."

The company has been providing value assurance to the industry since 2001.
