Five Star Institute Announces Sharon Bartlett as Executive Director of Industry Relations

The Five Star Institute announced that Sharon Bartlett joined their company to further develop mortgage industry relations and education. Sharon comes to Five Star with a wealth of experience within the industry, having spent the last 30 years holding various positions in mortgage loan servicing and REO with Freddie Mac, including Director of Vendor Services. Ed Delgado, President and CEO, Five Star Institute said, "Sharon's mortgage industry knowledge makes her a valued member of Five Star Institute. We are fortunate to have her on the team, and I’m confident that she will play a significant role in providing and implementing high quality solutions for the industry.”

As Executive Director of Industry Relations, Sharon will continue Five Star’s recent success forming strategic alliances throughout the mortgage industry, focusing on REO and Single-Family Rental markets. “It is great to hear that Sharon Bartlett has joined the Five Star team. Her experience and wealth of knowledge will be another value add to the expertise already in place," stated J.K. Huey, Senior Vice President of Home Mortgage, Wells Fargo regarding Bartlett’s move.

Since its inception, the Five Star Institute has created opportunities for education and collaboration within the mortgage industry. To further this mission, the Five Star Institute established a distinguished REO membership program for residential agents and brokers known as the Federation of REO Certified Experts (FORCE) in 2011. "Sharon's 30 years of experience across the mortgage industry will add an invaluable perspective to our FORCE membership initiatives. Not only will she bring focus on strategic partnership acquisitions, but also be a source for agent/broker training,” said Annie Collier, Executive Director, FORCE.
