FirstService to Manage The Cogsville Group’s Chicago Properties

After acquiring 94 single-family properties in Chicago, ""The Cogsville Group, LLC"":http://cogsvillegroup.com/home.html has selected ""FirstService Residential Realty Inc."":http://www.firstservice.com/ to manage its rental properties.

Recently, ""FHFA announced The Cogsville Group"":http://dsnews.comarticles/cogsville-group-acquires-94-chicago-properties-through-fhfa-pilot-2012-10-02 as the second winning bidder for the federal agency's REO Initiative, which involves the bulk sale of Fannie Mae foreclosures to be used as rental units.

FirstService Residential Realty, which describes itself as the largest, residential single-family property management company in North America, announced the agreement Thursday. The company services more than 50,000 properties nationwide.

In September, FirstService Residential Realty also announced it merged with TenantAccess, Inc. and PropertyAccess. All three companies are subsidiaries of FirstService Corporation.
