ProVest LLC, a national process server management company for the default servicing industry, announced on Tuesday the formation of the Ohio Professional Process Servers Association (Oppsa) by ProVest VP Paula Ashcraft.

""ProVest LLC"":http://www.ProVest.us, a national process server management company for the default servicing industry, announced on Tuesday the formation of the Ohio Professional Process Servers Association (Oppsa) by ProVest VP Paula Ashcraft.
Commenting on the establishment of Oppsa, Ashcraft said, ""Ohio’s servicers and attorneys have made strong efforts to battle the state’s high rate of foreclosures, and the Ohio Professional Process Servers Association is in position to help servicers guide additional policies and maintain a high level of ethical standards in today’s marketplace. Our group of industry experts will provide leadership and educational opportunities that we need to best serve homeowners. The association provides a format for us to work together and help shape the future of servicing.""
Oppsa was established to promote legislation and rule changes at the courts that will benefit the process service profession in Ohio. Ashcraft explained that the organization will also promote and maintain professional and ethical standards within the industry, and improve relations between process service companies, the legal community, the judicial system, and the general public. The group plans to provide educational opportunities to process service professionals within the state of Ohio, and is working to establish a grievance and arbitration procedure among its members.
An interim board has been announced with founding Oppsa member Paula Ashcraft, president; Jeffrey Cremeans, president of Columbus, Ohio-based Encore Delivery Systems, Inc., membership chair; and Teresa Miller, COO of Cincinnati-based LegalEx, Inc., director.
