Kansas City-based law firm Martin, Leigh, Laws, & Fritzlen PC announced that it will begin operating under a new name, Martin Leigh PC.

Kansas City-based Martin, Leigh, Laws & Fritzlen, P.C., was awarded USFN's Award of Excellence for the fourth consecutive year. The Award of Excellence is given annually to USFN member firms that meet rigorous standards which evaluate professional activities, industry volunteerism, and community and charitable involvement.

Martin, Leigh, Laws Fritzlen, P.C. promoted Lindsey McArthur to director of client relations and business development following the departure of Jane Woll. Woll, who spent six and a half years at the firm, will begin a new career at Stewart Lender Services (SLS) as SVP and strategic relationship manager on May 1. McArthur has been a part of Martin, Leigh, Laws & Fritzlen since 2009. Prior to her promotion, she served with the firm as the director of St. Louis operations in the Chesterfield, Missouri office.

Martin, Leigh, Laws & Fritzlen, P.C. announced Beverly M. Weber became a shareholder at the firm as of March 1.

Martin, Leigh, Laws & Fritzlen P.C. (MLL&F) announced one of its attorneys, Rep. Kevin J. McManus, was recognized with The Missouri Bar's 2012 Legislative Award.

Martin, Leigh, and Fritzlen Laws announced the addition of Desarae Harrah as partner, and Aaron Elking and Benjamin Musholt as new associates.

Weber - have been named Best of Bar and appear in the September 23, 2011 issue of the Kansas City Business Journal. Martin Leigh Laws & Fritzlen, P.C. recently announced that Kevin McManus has been elected to the Missouri House of Representatives (46th District). McManus is an attorney in the firm's Kansas City office and practices primarily in real estate and commercial litigation. The firm also announced that Steven M. Leigh; Berry F. Laws, III; and Thomas J. Fritzlen, all partners of the firm have been named 2010 Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers.

Martin, Leigh, Laws & Fritzlen, P.C. recently announced that it has added three new attorneys to the firm. Richard Gray's practice is focused on litigation in real estate, title insurance, collections, contract dispute, and general tort areas. Jonathan K. Glassman will provide services in the areas of civil litigation and creditors rights. M. Catherine Hartnett's concentration is title insurance defense, bankruptcy, secured transactions, contracts, and all issues involving creditor's rights.
