Minneapolis Prepares for Increase in Foreclosures

The threat of rising adjustable mortgage rates in 2007 has prompted city and nonprofit officials in Minneapolis to announce the creation of the Foreclosure Prevention Funders Council. The nonprofit Family Housing Fund, which provides safe and sustainable homes to families living in the Twin Cities, established the council with the help of the Minneapolis Community Planning and Economic Development and various other nonprofit and government agencies.
