Each January, DS News showcases some of the top talents of the financial services legal sector in its annual legal edition, featuring the Black Book legal directory, contributed features by subject-matter experts drawn from the of the Legal League 100 , and our Top 25 Women of Law section. Distributed at Five Star events and other industry gatherings throughout the following year, this issue is an excellent chance for firms to showcase their expertise and personnel—but time is nearly up to secure a place within its pages.
The Black Book Legal Directory includes both detailed photo and text profiles of some of the most experienced and most respected firms supporting the default servicing industry. Each profile provides details as to where the firms operate, their areas of expertise, awards received, affiliation/memberships, charitable associations, and more. In addition to being republished on DSNews.com and via DSNewsBlackBook.com , the 2020 Black Book directory will be on-hand numerous Five Star events throughout the year, including the Five Star Conference and Expo. All told, the issue will be showcased before industry professionals representing mortgage lending and servicing, government agencies, investors, service providers, tech providers, and more.
The January issue will also showcase our Top 25 Women of Law , a series of short profiles of a select group of women attorneys who epitomize excellence in the mortgage legal services space. As with the Black Book directory, these profiles will be seen by industry professionals at events including the Five Star Conference, Legal League 100 Spring and Fall Summits, the Five Star Government Forum , the National Mortgage Servicing Association Annual Meeting, and more.
