Fabrizio & Brook Announces New Appointments

2 - Cook-Stefan [1]Michigan-based default services law firm Fabrizio & Brook, PC [2], has announced the addition of attorney Cheryl D. Cook to its litigation team and the promotion of Stefan Zaryczny as the firm’s director of information technology.

Cook brings more than 18 years of litigation experience with creditors' rights, asset recovery, lending, and real estate law to the firm. Her experience includes complex litigation involving both secured and unsecured transactions at both the state and federal levels as well as loan restructuring and collecting both consumer and commercial debt.

Cook has a bachelor’s degree in English from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, and a Juris Doctor from Michigan State University, Detroit College of Law. She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Sterling Heights Regional Chamber of Commerce in Sterling Heights, Michigan. She is admitted to practice in U.S. District Courts for both the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan and the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. She is also admitted to practice in the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Zaryczny has a bachelor’s degree from Oakland University (located in Rochster, Michigan) in Management Information Systems. He will be based in Fabrizio & Brook’s headquarters in Troy, Michigan, and will oversee all of the firm’s IT operations. Zaryczny served in various IT positions with the firm prior to his promotion, including systems analyst. He also served as senior application designer for another company prior to joining Fabrizio & Brook.
