In addition to the moving its office, HWA has also updated its technology platform to the Cloud. The firm now has state of the art internal security embedded throughout the new office space and a paperless environment. This will provide more security for HWA’s clients and confidential data.
HWA’s hosted server environment is now located in the CyrusOne datacenter facility, the same building used by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. CyrusOne is a SSAE, PCI, and HIPAA-compliant facility, which features 24/7 on site security, multiple levels of access through biometrics and access cards, and guarantees a 100 percent uptime with power.
This server environment itself is a fully redundant system. The entire infrastructure is connected via a high speed 10GbE network fabric, and sits behind multiple security appliances to ensure complete security from outside attacks and prevent internet loss in the event of an appliance failure. The system maintains full backups of the entire environment and in the event of software failure of a virtual server, a complete restore of that server can be completed and running in under 5 minutes.
