HomeStar Welcomes New SVP of Field Service Operations

HomeStar Matt RicheyHomeStar, LLC, a family of companies that offers a comprehensive suite of services and solutions for real estate and financial institutions, has announced the hiring of Matt Richey as SVP of Field Service Operations.

Richey, who will work out of the company's Dallas office, will leverage his extensive experience in residential mortgage banking and real estate development in his new position overseeing HomeStar's field service operations. Richey's responsibilities will include driving growth initiatives in the areas of construction, renovation, and property preservation and environmental remediation for HomeStar.

Prior to joining HomeStar, Richey was co-owner of Beyond 4 Walls Remodeling, a Dallas-based residential construction company. Richey's career began as a project manager overseeing luxury residential community construction more than 10 years ago, after which he moved up to managing operations for large residential community projects. From 2008 to 2013, he held positions in sales, asset management, REO financing, broker management, and REO repairs with GMAC Mortgage.

Richey's vision and direction will ensure that growth across all lines of business for the company will remain unified under HomeStar's commitment to provide a vertically integrated turn-key process. The expansion of business services and technology enhancements implemented in 2014 resulted in more growth of the company's momentum, according to the announcement. HomeStar currently has offices in Dallas and Minnesota along with regional managers nationwide.
