Kersey has worked in various roles at multiple law firms over the last five years, and as an associate attorney with Cohn, Goldberg & Deutsch, she will be primarily working the firm’s foreclosure and compliance departments. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware and a Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware.

Founded in 1985 and based in the Baltimore-Washington, D.C. area, Cohn, Goldberg & Deutsch provides legal services in all aspects of foreclosure work, employing approximately 40 individuals with an average of about 12 years of experience. The firm’s practice groups include the award-winning foreclosure, bankruptcy, and evictions group; the collections group, which enhances the firm’s foreclosure services, since the firm can efficiently collect on deficiencies awarded through the foreclosure process; and the REO/real estate settlements group, which also enhances the firm’s foreclosure services, since the firm can efficiently close and/or transfer properties either obtained through the foreclosure process or as a result of a loan origination.
