Associa announced the appointment of Tom Larkin as a SVP of information technology and interim CIO. Associa is a community association management firm based out of Dallas, Texas.
"Tom has had great success leading our community archives and other system-wide technology projects," says Associa President and CEO John Carona. "He has proven himself time and time again in his field and this promotion is not only well-deserved, it is the perfect fit for the future of Associa."
Before joining Associa, Larkin retired from an information technology consulting firm he founded with two colleagues. Prior to founding his own firm, he had worked in the information technology field for a variety of companies and organizations. Most of his focus has been on very large scale transaction processing and data base systems.
Larkin earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University.
