Hladik, Onorato and Federman LLP (HOF Law Group [1]), a full-service law firm that specializes in the areas of mortgage foreclosure, bankruptcy, tax sales, municipal law, personal injury, and estate planning, has announced the addition of two new attorneys, Matthew C. Collins, Esq., and Eric J. Phillips, Esq.
Collins works with HOF Law Group’s default services group in the areas of creditor’s rights, foreclosures, workouts, bankruptcy, and bank litigation. He also handles cases involving lender liability defense, complicated title matters, and business disputes. Collins also has experience with community associations and their interplay with financing, lien priority, and other issues impacting financial institutions and provides counsel in diverse matters to clients in the financial, banking, business, and real estate sectors.
Collins obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Pennsylvania State University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh Law School. He is admitted before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Pennsylvania.
Phillips brings more than 20 years of experience to HOF Law Group. His practice focuses on default services and commercial litigation and his previous experience includes serving as in-house counsel for a national home builder that owned and operated a community management company in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Serving in this role gave Phillips experience in the areas of real estate, construction, zoning, land use, and the creation, formation, and operation of condominium and homeowners’ associations.
Phillips has an undergraduate degree from Temple University and a Juris Doctor from Temple University School of Law. He is admitted before the Supreme Courts in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
