Fay Servicing Welcomes New SVP

Fay Servicing, a residential mortgages servicer, announced the addition of Nancy Barthel to its executive team as SVP of operational risk. Her role will be to develop and strengthen the company's QA/QC programs, as well as managing risk across the organization.

Andy Laing, COO of Fay Servicing, said, "Nancy's expertise enables us to further enhance the way our organization manages operational risk as we expand our ability to meet the growing demand for special servicing within the mortgage industry."

Barthel is a Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Fay Servicing, Barthel was the president of her own consulting firm, where she structured operations, integrated technology, and implement regulatory compliance programs for large banks, mortgage lenders, and mortgage technology firms.

Barthel earned her MBA at the University of Pittsburgh.
