Safeguard Properties Named to Elite List of Technology Innovators

tech-portal [1]Cleveland, Ohio-based mortgage field services provider Safeguard Properties [2] was ranked 17th on the InformationWeek Elite 100 [3], according to an announcement made during the annual InformationWeek Conference [4] on April 28 in Las Vegas.

The InformationWeek Elite 100 is a list of the top business technology innovators in the U.S. and is compiled annually. This was Safeguard's first year to enter the competition to be one of the Elite 100. By being named to the 2015 list, Safeguard joins an impressive list of winners [3]. InformationWeek Elite 100 spotlights business technology innovation, and its research tracks the best technology-based investments, strategies, and results from some of the country's best-known companies.

“It is Safeguard’s mission to provide preservation services and innovative technologies that proactively protect communities across the country on behalf of our mortgage servicing clients,” said George Mehok, Safeguard Chief Information Officer. “The Mobile Inspections Quality Control suite continues Safeguard’s tradition of investing in technologies that help solve the industry’s most challenging problems while maintaining the highest level of service.”

Safeguard's major innovations recently include the industry's first Mobile Inspections Quality Control suite, designed to reduce risks, expedite results that are reported from the field, and improve the quality of information provided to Safeguard's clients. The company's network of inspectors is able to provide consistent and expedited results by using the power of mobility and big data analytics, the Mobile Inspections Quality Control suite. The suite comes with a mobile app that is compatible with iPhones, iPads, or Androids.

Inspectors have the ability to collect property condition data and corresponding photo evidence using Safeguard's Mobile Inspections Quality Control suite, which includes INSPI Mobile, INSPI QC, and MapAlert. Inspectors can submit real-time results from the field using the suite. Withe the goal of creating greater business efficiencies through combining mobile technology with data analytics, the new suite has resulted in more productivity from both the company and vendors, which has subsequently resulted in greater customer satisfaction.

“At InformationWeek, we talk about this as 'IT Without Borders,' as we see the best IT leaders tearing down traditional borders to help every department leverage technologies such as data analytics, cloud, and mobility,” InformationWeek Editor Chris Murphy said. “The 2015 InformationWeek Elite 100 spotlights companies at which IT is not only inseparable from every department, it's pivotal to every customer experience.”

In addition to ranking 17th in InformationWeek's Elite 100 for 2015, Safeguard was named a finalist for a Business Innovator Award in the category of Workforce Performance and received a “Top 20 Great Ideas of 2014” award for its Mobile Inspections Quality Control suite. That suite was also named to Informationweek.com's list of “20 Great Ideas to Steal in 2015.”
