As part of an ongoing expansion effort throughout the Lone Star state, Guild Mortgage Co. [1] has opened a new branch in Rockwall, Texas. The company continues to expand, further growing its footprint since entering Texas in 2011.
Crystal Tatum, a 13-year veteran of the mortgage lending industry, has been named branch manager. Prior to joining Guild Mortgage, Tatum was with Viewpoint bank of Richardson, Texas, for 10 years.
"Guild recognized that Rockwall is one of the fastest growing cities in the Dallas metroplex and saw opportunities to provide more options for homebuyers in the city," Tatum said.
"As a direct lender and servicer, Guild has all of the tools necessary to assist the individual borrower and the real estate professional with a full range of mortgage products, with particular expertise in helping first-time homebuyers," Tatum added.
Guild Mortgage, founded in 1960 in San Diego, has more than 200 branch and satellite offices in 23 states and generated loan volume of $7 billion in 2013 and a servicing volume of $13 billion. Guild Mortgage now has 33 branches and satellites in Texas.
