Newbold Advisors, a Clearwater, Florida-based management consulting company that serves lenders, servicers, GSEs, MI companies, investment banks, and private investors in the financial industry, has announced the hiring of Detta Cutright as managing director of financial services as part of a continued, strategic growth strategy.

Cutright has more than 22 years of experience at the senior level in the financial services industry. Immediately prior to joining Newbold Advisors, she served as SVP of client development at QBE, where she oversaw business development activities (including client relationships), marketing communication, and industry relations. She has also served in business development and account management roles for Essent Guaranty and Republic Mortgage Insurance Company and in various client-facing roles with Fannie Mae during her 13-year tenure there.

In her new role with Newbold, Cutright will oversee business development within the financial service area. Her particular focus will be on national and regional mortgage lenders.

"Detta’s deep mortgage finance experience significantly strengthens Newbold’s ability to support both our regional and national lending clients as they navigate through an increasingly complex lending environment," said Jason Bohrer, president and a partner. "We are very pleased to have Detta join the Newbold team."
