Strengthening the Industry Through Diversity and Inclusion

Entitled "Making the Business Case for Diversity & Inclusion," this most recent AMDC webinar explored how increasing inclusiveness contributes to the health of an organization and benefits the bottom line. The webinar presented an overview of practical steps that your business can take to promote diversity in the workplace.

Tami Rund, CEO, AssetVal, and Monika Peltz, SVP of Default Operations at First American Title, co-hosted the webinar, providing industry professionals and diversity practitioners with practical education to deepen their knowledge on issues related to D&I. The webinar also included presentations from AMDC member firms AssetVal, Continental Real Estate Services, First Allegiance, and First American.

The American Mortgage Diversity Council provides a platform for collaboration of mortgage industry leaders for the advancement of diversity and inclusion dialogue. The organization fosters discussion and promotes action through active participation with mortgage lenders, servicers, and related service providers. AMDC regularly engages with various federal agencies with respect to policy and procedure impacting diversity and inclusion across the mortgage industry.
