Potestivo & Associates Adds Two Associate Attorneys

Default servicing firm Potestivo & Associates, headquartered in Rochester Hills, Michigan, and full-service offices in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Chicago, Illinois, has announced the hiring of two new associate attorneys, Nicholas J. Tatro and Caitlin Cipri, according to an announcement from the firm.

Tatro will be primarily serving the firm's Litigation Department and working out of the firm's Rochester Hills office. He has a bachelor's in history from DePaul University (2005) and earned his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law (2009), where he made the Dean's List during his last two years. He was also a recipient of the Jurisprudence Award for Mergers & Acquisitions during his last two years of law school.

Most recently, Tatro served as the lead attorney representing employers in workers' compensation cases. His wide range of experince as a legal practitioner demonstrates he is well-suited to the needs and objectives of Potestivo & Associates, according to the firm.

“We are pleased to have yet another knowledgeable and experienced attorney assist with our foreclosure operations at the Chicago office,” said Brian A. Potestivo, president and founder of the firm. "Nicholas is a member of the State Bar of Illinois and the State Bar of Michigan. He has also been admitted to the General Bar of the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois."

Cipri is joining the firm as an associate attorney in the Foreclosure Department in the Rochester Hills, Michigan, office. She has a bachelor's in political science from Michigan State University (2010) and a Juris Doctor from Loyola University (2014). She was the executive editor for the Loyola International Law Review for the 2013-14 academic year while in law school.

Cipri's previous experience includes working as an attorney preparing documents necessary for real estate transfers, which made her well-equipped for working with the Foreclosure and REO Departments at Potestivo, according to the firm.

“We are excited to welcome yet another experienced attorney to assist with our foreclosure operations in our Rochester Hills office,” Brian Potestivo said.
