HUD Announces Several Key Additions

HUD BuildingThe U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) [1] has announced several key additions to its staff since March. These talented and diverse individuals join HUD ready to deliver results for the American people by tackling our nation’s housing challenges to build a stronger, more equitable America.

President Joe Biden recently announced the nominations [2] of Julia Gordon for Assistant Secretary for Housing, Federal Housing Commissioner, HUD; and Dave Uejio for Assistant Secretary for Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity, HUD to further stabilize oversight of the nation’s housing market. Those two nominees await official appointment.

New HUD appointees are listed below in alphabetical order.

These appointments bolster HUD’s staff after, earlier this year, HUD’s Office of the Secretary added the following:

Office of Public Affairs (OPA)

Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Relations (CIR)

Office of Administration (OA)

Office of Policy, Development and Research (PD&R)

Federal Housing Administration/Office of Housing (FHA/Housing)
