Scott Chandler
Westcor Land Title Insurance Company [1] has announced the promotion of EVP/Director of Agency Scott Chandler to the position of Chief Operating Officer effective immediately.
Chandler joined Westcor in 2006 and has held a variety of positions with the company. In his most recent role with Westcor, he was responsible for management and growth of all regional and national operations.
As COO of Westcor, Chandler will oversee the operating divisions of the company’s core business, including regional operations, the company’s National Agency Division, and the Lender Services Division. He will report directly to Westcor President and CEO Mary O’Donnell.
Chandler will also continue his leadership responsibilities with Westcor’s recently acquired Realty Data Company, according to Westcor.
“Scott has a great mix of leadership, operational experience and passion for our employees,” O’Donnell said. “His experience will be invaluable as we continue to grow.”
Chandler has worked in the title insurance industry since 1983 and has held various leadership roles with national underwriters. His first position with Westcor when he joined the company 10 years ago was Vice President—Western Regional Office in Denver, where he grew the regional operation starting with three employees working in Colorado, Utah, and Nevada, to a hub office with oversight in the Midwest, Texas, and Mountain Region offices.
In 2012, Chandler became EVP—Director of Agency with Westcor, which is licensed in 48 states and the District of Columbia and has more than 1,200 independent title agents.
