HPF Appoints New CEO

David Berenbaum is slated to join the Homeownership Preservation Foundation (HPF) on September 2 as the group's new CEO.

Berenbaum possesses 28 years of experience in leadership and business management for non-profit companies such as the Equal Rights Center, the Fair Housing Council of Greater Washington, Long Island Housing Services, and the National Community Reinvestment Coalition. At the Coalition, Berenbaum saw to an extensive array of programs administered by the company, including "housing counseling, public policy, fair housing, small business, research, training, compliance and external affairs initiatives."

His introduction to the HPF will have him working closely with the company's board members and Colleen Hernandez. Berenbaum is expected to help push the foundation's goals further, helping the HPF "continue to serve its mission by proactively helping consumers before they buy, after they buy, and if they encounter trouble."
