The newest innovation in process serving from JJL is TrueServe ESQ, an app that allows the user to pull up an entire array of evidence substantiating JJL's service for a particular case from smartphone or tablet anytime a judge or opposing counsel questions service of process. This information can be accessed on the spot in the courtroom within seconds.
Another process serving innovation from JJL builds on a previous innovation from the company, time/date-stamped photos with GPS coordinates captured. The new innovation checks the accuracy of this information provided to them by servers. Now at JJL, every service attempt is audited for both compliance and quality by JJL's corporate audit department using an advanced proprietary internal audit process. The audits of the service attempts greatly increases the accountability of servers and the information they return, and has allowed JJL to be more accurate on percentage of attempts with PGS/photo information and proximity of captured GPS coordinates to the physical address listed on the document.
In addition, JJL ensures that all postings have a separate GPS/time/date-stamped photo which shows the documents on the door in order to provide evidence to aggressively contest any future challenge to the posting service.
JJL has also opened several new offices, maintaining its position of having more corporate owned and operated offices than any other process server in the country, thus increasing the level of compliance and quality control for JJL compared to competitors who often use third-party affiliates to cover entire states.
