From new technology and data to partnerships and appointments get the latest buzz on the industry in this weekly update.

CourtXpress, an e-filing service of a360inc, announced that it has expanded its e-filing service to include the state of Illinois. Since its launch in 2012, CourtXpress has conducted over 1.2 million filings. “Ensuring that our technology solutions address the needs of our law firm and mortgage industry clients is a core objective for a360inc. And the convergence of these solutions into one technology platform ecosystem enables our clients to leverage one vendor relationship to achieve a variety of operational benefits. The expansion of CourtXpress into the Illinois market is part of our strategic expansion in the e-filling arena,” said a360inc CEO Scott Brinkley.

DIMONT, a Dallas-based provider of insurance claims adjusting and collateral loss mitigation services to the residential mortgage and auto lending industries, has released its white paper "The Power of Integrated Claims & Conveyance Services", which deals with the struggles mortgage servicers face when working with properties purchased with FHA loans. “This paper discusses this new, innovative approach in detail by first outlining the key trends that affect Servicers and how these can drive the costs of NPLs, especially FHA foreclosed loans,” says DIMONT. “The paper then discusses how integrated processing of claims and conveyance-related servicing activities will dramatically cut operating expenses and mitigate penalty risks on FHA loans and other investor-backed loans.”

CoreLogic, a global property information, analytics, and data-enabled solutions provider, announced the integration of geospatial and appraisal data validation into the parcel identification process. CoreLogic states that the new features provide additional property granularity and verification to help ensure more accurate parcel information for property tax reporting. “The new era of real estate tax service now blends functionality once reserved for insurance or appraisal industries,” said Nancy Langer, executive, Real Estate Tax and Payment Solutions for CoreLogic. “By extending our property tax search process to include valuation and geospatial data validation, we are elevating the level of precision and efficiency we can deliver to our tax clients. Our integration of geospatial data has also allowed us to enhance our workflow system and parcel identification process using standard and satellite maps with parcel overlays. These overlays create a visual representation of parcel dimensions allowing our search professionals to validate location, acreage and legal descriptions of real property. The new process is helping to put actionable intelligence in the hands of our tax professionals to efficiently and precisely identify parcels.”

Pennsylvania-based SingleSource, a provider of valuation, REO, title, and property preservation services, announced the addition of industry professionals Stacey Bayley and Brent Taggart to its business development team. Bayley joins the team as an SVP of Business Development. Previously, Ms. Bayley was with Litton Loan Servicing, AssetLink, and ServiceLink, where she provided senior leadership to large default operations, including asset management, loss mitigation, call centers, and property preservation. Bayley holds MBA and undergraduate degrees from the University of Connecticut. “Increasing our management team to include two senior-level executives adds significantly to our talent pool and strengthens the experience level of our leadership ranks,” says Ed Austin, SingleSource’s COO. “The knowledge and expertise that these individuals bring to our business should help to grow our  existing client bases in valuation, asset management, property preservation, and title.”
