[1]Michigan-based real estate finance and credit industry law firm Potestivo & Associates [2] recently announced the hiring of Art Sriratana as associate attorney. Sriratana will be working in the Foreclosure Department at Potestivo's Chicago office.
"We are thrilled to add yet another experienced and knowledgeable attorney to assist with our Illinois operations," said Brian A. Potestivo, president and managing attorney of Potestivo & Associates.
Sriratana graduated from the Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2008 with Dean's List Honors. While in law school, Sriratana was an active member of the Public Interest Law Society and the Asian-American Law Student Association. Prior to attending law school, Sriratana received a bachelor's degree in English literature in 2004 from the University of Illinois. Creditors' rights are of particular interest to Sriratana as an area of practice because he believes this issue affects the entire community.
After graduating from law school, Sriratana worked for the City of Chicago as a prosecutor and law clerk, then he moved on to a law firm whose specialty was resolving civil claims, where he served as a lead staff attorney and supervisor. He began his career as a law clerk in Chicago for a firm that served the education community while he was still in law school.
