In his new role as CFO at Auction.com, he will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations and growth strategies and will be based in the company's Silicon Valley offices in Belmont, California. He will report directly to Auction.com CEO Tim Morse, who previously worked with Kothari at Yahoo!. Morse served as CFO of Yahoo! from 2009 to 2012.

“Aman played an integral role in many significant transactions during his tenure at Yahoo! and I’m excited to be working with him again,” said Morse. “With his expertise, dedication and enthusiasm, he’ll be a fantastic addition to Auction.com’s leadership team as we continue to build the world's leading online real estate marketplace.”

Kothari has a B.A. from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgo, Scotland, and is a Chartered Accountant. Prior to working with Yahoo!, he was a senior manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

“Auction.com has a unique opportunity to disrupt the status quo within a massive market and shape the way real estate is bought and sold,” Kothari said. “I’m thrilled to join Auction.com at this exciting time and look forward to working with the team to propel the company to the next level.”
