National Lender and Servicer Announces Executive Changes

Connecticut-based Planet Home Lending [1], a lender and servicer, announced Muthu Srinivasan is the company’s new Chief Technology Officer and Jeffrey Ratter has joined the company as Chief Information Officer.

As chief technology officer, Srinivasan will develop and drive technology strategies to support company growth, speed the lending pipeline and deliver an exceptional experience to customers and business partners. He will focus on the company’s major IT projects, including the continued build-out of digital mortgage and enhancements to Planet Home Lending’s digital personal mortgage assistant.

“Muthu is an inspirational leader who knows how to tackle big tasks and achieve IT and corporate goals,” Planet Home Lending President and CEO Michael Dubeck said. “His mortgage IT product knowledge and expertise is exceptional.”

“Planet is dedicated to applying technology to improve the borrower experience and to gaining all the benefits available in the current digital technology space,” said Srinivasan.

During his more than two decades in mortgage technology, Srinivasan has been a sought-after subject matter expert known for delivering keen insights and efficient solutions to both technology and business challenges.

Previously, Srinivasan was VP, enterprise data management at Impac Mortgage Corp., Director of Technology Service Delivery for LoanDepot, VP of Technology at Stearns Lending, and Vice President SeniorTech Manager for Bank of America.

Ratter will develop Planet’s infrastructure, managing information security, IT support, vendor management, and facilities.

“Jeffrey will be an asset to Planet because he’s successfully led enterprise-class mortgage banking companies through growth cycles similar to the one Planet is currently experiencing,” said Dubeck.

“I joined Planet because I believe in the management team of this company,” Ratter said. “I come from a sporting background. I’ve been on teams that were the best, teams that weren’t and teams that rose to the occasion and achieved greatness against all odds. What I learned is that no matter what you’re doing, it’s who’s on the roster with you and how well you work as a team that determines your success.”

Previously, Ratter was SVP of information technology at Stearns Lending, where he built the infrastructure supporting six joint ventures. Prior to that, he was Chief Information Officer of Impac Mortgage Corp., a multichannel mortgage banker. Earlier in his career, he was Regional VP of IT Services—Consumer Products at Wells Fargo, managing technology for the bank’s second-largest unit.
