Investment Trends in Single-Family Rentals

How can lenders reach out to investors who are buying, fixing, and rehabbing REO properties back into the marketplace? "The most interesting part of investment in the single-family rental market today is that it was born out of the crisis back in 2008-09 as a very small percentage of the US single-family, but over the years, investors in this space have aggregated investment in these homes into large corporate businesses that own and manage these homes professionally," said Jeffrey Tesch, Managing Director, RCN Capital, who spoke to DS News recently on the trends in investments in this segment and the loans being tailored for these investors.
