Kluever & Platt, LLC has recently announced new appointments of attorneys and professional staff.

Matthew C. Kromm has been named a partner, and Diana Carpintero has joined as managing attorney for foreclosure and bankruptcy.

Kromm has been a member of Kluever & Platt, LLC since April 2008 and practices in the areas of commercial litigation and contested residential mortgage foreclosure actions. Kromm has handled matters in a variety of jurisdictions and litigates cases throughout the entire state of Illinois. Included within his area of expertise, Kromm handles complex court litigation matters including a wide-range of commercial litigation, commercial collection matters, contract disputes, commercial and residential lease disputes, construction disputes and suits on notes, guarantees, and mechanics lien foreclosures matters. Kromm graduated from Illinois Institute of Technology - Chicago Kent College of Law in 2001 and was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2001.

Carpintero focuses her practice in creditor’s rights and foreclosure and has 10 years of Operations and Compliance experience. Before joining the firm, Carpintero was the Managing Attorney of several midsize Chicago default foreclosure firms where she was responsible for operations, auditing and quality control, risk and compliance management, vendor management, change management, remediation and case and document management. Carpintero is an active member of the Illinois bar and various industry organizations and is well known in the industry for her work in default foreclosure and commercial services
