Martin, Leigh, Laws & Fritzlen USFN Award of Excellence [1]Martin, Leigh, Laws & Fritzlen (MLLF [2]), a Kansas-based law firm specializing in creditor-oriented litigation, recently received the USFN [3] Award of Excellence for the fifth consecutive year.

USFN – America's Mortgage Banking Attorneys, formerly known as the United States Foreclosure Network, is a non-profit network that has served the mortgage industry for 26 years and is the nation's oldest and largest non-profit association of mortgage banking law firms and trustee companies.

Firms must meet rigorous standards in order to qualify for the USFN Award of Excellence, which is awarded annually. According to USFN's web site, firms being considered for the Award of Excellence are evaluated based on active participation and leadership in the MBA, USFN, and their legal profession; significant contributions to leadership in the industry; on-going staff development; and superior client relations. A firm's level of industry volunteerism and involvement in community and charitable causes are also examined when being considered for the Award of Excellence. Usually between 35 to 40 firms nationwide per year receive the Award of Excellence.

"While all USFN Members meet our rigorous screening standards and selection criteria, the Award of Excellence recognizes firms that represent the highest realization of the ideals embodied by our organization, and they symbolize USFN's continuing commitment to quality," USFN said on its web site.

The USFN honors recipients of the Award of Excellence each year in the late fall at USFN's Annual Member Education Retreat.
