The facility provides Chase borrowers who are struggling to make their mortgage payments with resources to help them avoid foreclosure. Trained advisors are on hand to help distressed homeowners evaluate their finances,[IMAGE] [COLUMN_BREAK]
review possible workout options, and answer any questions.
The Wisconsin location is the company's 52nd homeownership and foreclosure help center. Chase plans to have a total of 84 centers in operation across the United States by the end of 2011.
""We created these local Homeownership Centers so our borrowers can sit down and discuss their situation face-to-face with trained loan advisors,"" said Steve Stein, head of the Homeownership Preservation Office at Chase.
""We educate individuals on their options and help structure a solution that's right for them,"" Stein added. ""We hope this will help keep thousands more borrowers in their homes.""
Across the country, loan advisors in Chase Homeownership Centers have met with 140,000 customers. In addition, the company has held nearly 1,500 borrower outreach events, meeting with an additional 72,000 customers.
