LenderLive Expands Title Service Offerings

LenderLive Settlement Services LLC (LLSS) has expanded its title-related and portfolio management service offerings in response to new regulatory compliance requirements affecting lenders and servicers. Colorado-based LLSS is a division of ""LenderLive Network Inc."":http://www.lenderlive.com, an end-to-end mortgage services provider.

documentation in order. The company notes that there have been instances where foreclosures or other loan actions have been delayed because the title information could not be verified.

LLSS now offers more file reviews, policy retrieval and replacement policy services associated with title policy recovery, as well as recording confirmation, tax reporting, and ownership verifications related to portfolio security assessment. According to the company, these changes will allow servicers to better organize title and mortgage documentation.

""These services are extremely timely and meet the needs of lenders and servicers who want to preserve their business in this ever-changing market climate,"" said Lee Baskey, president of LLSS.

""With the scrutiny in today's market,"" Baskey continued, ""it is crucial that a lender's lien is accurately recorded and the lien position is insured properly. Both of these service areas and any combination of the offerings help lenders to ensure their loan is properly secured and marketable and that investor requirements have been met.""
