""Nielson & Sherry, PSC"":http://www.nsattorneys.com is expanding its footprint in Kentucky with the opening of a new office in Louisville on August 1, 2010, located on the city's east side in the recently renovated Hurstbourne Place office tower, just minutes from the state and federal courthouses.

Nielson & Sherry's focus is on legal issues related to the banking, lending, and real estate industries. In particular, the firm handles matters on both the residential and commercial sides of the real estate business, including closings, REO and relocation services, loss mitigation, foreclosures, evictions, replevins, title claims, lender litigation, and creditors' bankruptcy issues.

With the opening of the new Louisville office and the firm's already established presence in Newport, Kentucky, Nielson & Sherry says its partners will have convenient local access to the counties which constitute almost 60 percent of the default volume in the commonwealth.

According to the firm, to date, roughly 42 percent of Kentucky's default volume occurs in Louisville and the surrounding counties, while close to 16 percent occurs in the Northern Kentucky area.

With fully functioning offices in these two major areas, Nielson & Sherry says it's set to strengthen the firm's relationships with debtor's counsel as well as the master commissioners and judges, allowing the firm to better represent clients by virtually eliminating the need for local counsel appearances.

Richard Nielson, managing partner, will be relocating to the firm's Louisville office, and will continue to oversee Nielson & Sherry's operations and legal services to the mortgage industry. The firm's other partner, Jeffrey Sherry, will remain in the Northern Kentucky office, and will continue to manage the firm's title, REO, and residential closing services.

Nielson said, ""As the largest Kentucky-based law firm servicing the needs of a diverse group of national, regional, and local clients, it makes sense for us to have a direct and substantial presence in the state's largest legal market.""

Nielson added, ""Kentucky courts and opposing counsel are demanding more of us and our clients each day. Nielson & Sherry's goal is to constantly improve upon local communication and accessibility. The Louisville office will help us achieve that goal.""
