Five Star Offers Short Sale Training to Wingspan Real Estate Network

After recently establishing a partnership with ""Fannie Mae"":http://www.fanniemae.com/kb/index?page=home to offer Fannie Mae Short Sale Assistance Desk (SSAD) training for real estate professionals, the ""Five Star Institute"":http://www.thefivestar.com/#/home has just announced a second partnership with ""Wingspan Portfolio Advisors"":http://www.wingspanportfolioadvisors.com/ to promote its new offering.

Based in Dallas, Texas, the Five Star Institute - a mortgage industry group that offers certification courses in REO, short sales, and BPOs - recently announced the addition of SSAD training to its educational offerings.

Wingspan will now promote Five Star's beginning and advanced short sale courses within its extensive network of real estate professionals - the Wingspan Real Estate Network (WREN). Conversely, Five Star will promote WREN to agents who sign up for its short sale and SSAD training.

""We are completely supportive of the leadership the Five Star Institute has shown in facilitating certification training for short sales,"" says Steven Horne, CEO of Wingspan. ""Short sales represent a key strategy for real estate professionals, and with WREN, the Wingspan Real Estate Network, we are committed to making these important transactions work faster and more smoothly for all parties.""

Five Star will offer Basic Short Sale Training courses in addition to courses focusing on SSAD.

Through the SSAD, real estate agents gain accelerated access to Fannie Mae to expedite the short sale process.

Eliminating extra steps in the process, the SSAD sends Fannie Mae short sale forms through MLS and coordinates with servicers to complete short sale transactions when possible.

""We welcome the opportunity to partner with Wingspan to promote the Five Star Short Sale certification program featuring Fannie Mae's Short Sale Assistance Desk training,"" said Ed Delgado, CEO of the Five Star Institute.

""This partnership will equip member real estate professionals in the Wingspan Real Estate Network with the knowledge base needed to help homeowners in distress, lessen the volume of foreclosed homes from the market, and speed up the economic recovery at large,"" he added.
