This will be the firm's seventh consecutive year with the designation. Hollerbach & Associates is the only abstracting and title research firm in Texas to be considered an endorsed partner of TBASCO.

A TBASCO endorsement requires completion of a lengthy investigative process, including review of financial statements and operations, by an eight-member board of

directors, comprised of seven Texas bankers and the TBA president.

The endorsement is intended to signal to TBA members that the partner has passed a rigorous testing process and may be trusted by TBA members. TBASCO's stated mission is to provide access to quality products and services for TBA member banks to enhance the members' competitive standing.

""We have always found TBA and TBASCO to be valuable resources and partners,"" said Jim Hollerbach, president and CEO of Hollerbach & Associates. ""The real estate services industry in Texas is competitive, and our endorsed partner status is an honor that is not lightly awarded.""

Hollerbach & Associates has provided the real estate and mortgage industries with title research, abstracting, and settlement services for over 25 years.

In addition to such deliverables as flood reports, real estate appraisals, and document recording and retrieval, the company regularly supports default and REO work, as well as purchase money, home equity, and reverse mortgage transactions.

The firm is supported by research centers in Houston and Dallas and a network of independent title professionals throughout Texas, the Southwest, and Mexico.
