The special allocation determined by Ken Feinberg, the federal government's pay czar and supervisor of funds for disaster victim compensation, will be administered outside of the recently established Gulf Coast Claims Facility and is earmarked for emergency payments to eligible real estate professionals licensed in Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas.

""Many real estate professionals are struggling to make ends meet given the impact the oil spill has had on their

business,"" said Jim Pearl, president of NCA. ""There is a high level of frustration among this group and our commitment is to ensure eligible claims get paid in a timely manner with the highest level of professionalism and customer service.""

According to Dave Ross, chairman and CEO of NCA, his company has been working closely with the leadership teams of state Realtors associations, and as a result NCA is ready to begin receiving claims today.

""This leadership group has worked tirelessly on behalf of its members and other real estate professionals and we are thrilled to partner with them,"" Ross said.

Eligibility for the emergency financial assistance is based on proximity to the coast and proof of loss of commission or income as a result of the oil spill, among other factors, according to NCA.

To file a claim, licensed real estate professionals should go to ""GulfREClaims.com"":http://www.gulfreclaims.com for additional information.

National Catastrophe Adjusters has been appointed as the exclusive administrator for the special oil spill compensation fund for real estate professionals.

Headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, the company's typical day-to-day business is providing insurance services management, specializing in third party administration, daily and catastrophe field services, and underwriting inspection services to the property insurance market.
