""I am pleased to congratulate an extremely talented group of title industry colleagues on their National Title Professional designations,"" said Frank Pellegrini, ALTA president. ""Their knowledge, dedication, and breadth of experience make them deserving recipients of this designation.""

The NTP designation recognizes land title professionals who demonstrate the knowledge, experience, and dedication essential to the safe and efficient transfer of real property. The designation has several elements, including industry and compliance prerequisites and training requirements.

ALTA was founded in 1907 and represents more than 4,600 title insurance companies, title agents, independent abstracters, title searchers, and attorneys nationwide. With offices throughout the United States, ALTA members conduct title searches, examinations, closings, and issue title insurance that protects real property owners and mortgage lenders against losses from defects in titles.
