Fannie Mae Streamlines Expense Processes

"Fannie Mae":http://www.fanniemae.com will begin using the HomeTracker Lender Center software to track property preservation efforts conducted by Fannie Mae mortgage servicers.
The software, created by Dallas, Texas-based "HomeTelos":http://www.hometelos.com/, will allow Fannie Mae to streamline the approval process servicers use to make requests for property preservation expenses by created standardized rules and processes for all user requests. It also keeps a complete history of requests for better record keeping.
According to HomeTelos, since the Web-based software was created in 2003, it has been used to process 300,000 property preservation determinations and has reduced the re-submission rate of requests on average from 87 percent to 17 percent, and decreased the response time for property preservation requests from 10 days to two.
