NRT REOExperts Announces Executive Appointments

Florida-headquartered ""NRT REOExperts LLC"":http://www.reoexperts.net, a full-service REO service provider and member of the ""NRT family"":http://www.nrtllc.com/pages/family.html of companies, announced the appointment of several new members to its executive team last week.

Stephen Benetz was named president of the company following the planned retirements of NRT REOExperts founders Jay Baker, Richard Bates, and Michael Coen.

A 25-year veteran of REO and default management, Benetz most recently served as SVP of default management for NRT REOExperts. Prior to joining the company, he held executive positions at Fidelity National Asset Management, Sterling Technologies, London Bridge Corporation, Bearingpoint, and GE Capital.

Benetz appointed Walter Mullen, Mary Gomez, and Ximena Wolf to leadership positions at NRT REOExperts.

Mullen is the new EVP of business development and client relations, servicing existing clients and continuing future client development and growth. With more than 15 years of industry experience, he dedicated the past 10 years to the Realogy family of companies, overseeing mergers and acquisitions, integration management, operations, marketing, and business development.

Gomez will serve as director of asset management and vendor relations with accountability for the asset management teams at NRT REOExperts and the NRT REOExperts Vendor Network. With more than two decades of broad mortgage service industry experience, including 15 years in residential assets, she previously held management roles at GE Capital and the Winter Group and was CEO of Edison Mortgage Decision Solutions.

Wolf was named director of operations. A 20-year veteran of the loan servicing industry, she started with the REOExperts team more than 15 years ago. In her new role, Wolf will oversee all closing, title, evictions, redemptions, pre-marketing, and other processes.

Benetz also appointed Kathy Jeffers Volk and Phil Collier to new positions from within the NRT REOExperts management team.

Jeffers Volk, a 25-year real estate veteran who previously served as manager of broker relations for the company, was named director of business development and client relations. Prior to joining NRT REOExperts in 2003, she was VP of Countrywide Realty Partners Inc.

Collier, who was formerly responsible for overseeing asset managers and client relations at NRT REOExperts, assumed the position of director of business development and client relations. Prior to joining NRT REOExperts in 2000, Collier held management positions in REO management and loss mitigation at Radian Guaranty, Great Western Bank, World Savings, and Aames Home Loans.
