""RE/MAX"":http://www.remax.com was the only company to place three brokerages in the top 21 rankings based on 2010 local residential sales volume, with RE/MAX Excalibur Realty leading the pack at No. 6, followed by RE/MAX Fine Properties (No. 7), and RE/MAX Professionals (No. 12).
The three RE/MAX brokerages averaged 16.3 transactions per agent. Collectively, they sold 7,333 units in 2010 for an annual volume of nearly $1.5 billion.[COLUMN_BREAK]
Of those yearly totals, 3,204 sales or 44 percent were bank-owned and HUD-owned foreclosures. The dollar volume of the three franchises' REO sales was $451 million, or 31 percent of 2010's total.
""The List,"" according to the ""_Phoenix Business Journal_"":http://www.bizjournals.com/phoenix/, ranks hundreds of the hottest area companies in their fields to determine the market leaders in Arizona.
In addition to its three brokerage standouts, RE/MAX can lay claim to 15 of the state's top-50 individual residential real estate agents based on total dollar volume closed in 2010, nearly double that of its next competitor.
RE/MAX placed seven agents in the top-20, while no other company had more than three. Don Matheson (RE/MAX Fine Properties), Nate Martinez (RE/MAX Professionals) and Andrew Bloom (RE/MAX Excalibur Realty) all held spots in the top-10.
""We are extremely pleased with our presence and performance in Arizona and we are thrilled and honored to be recognized in ‘The List,'"" said Nick Bailey, VP and regional director of the RE/MAX Southwest region.
""RE/MAX agents have worked hard to gain the trust of both buyers and sellers in Arizona, and this is proof that experienced and trained agents will have the most success in helping families buy and sell their homes,"" Bailey said.
