Sklamba will serve as a VP and Louisiana underwriting counsel for the Louisiana agency group. He will be based in the New Orleans area. Pecoraro will serve as Louisiana state sales manager and will be based in the Baton Rouge area.

In his new role, Sklamba will assist WFG agencies on all underwriting matters. Sklamba has practiced in the New Orleans area for 40 years. He graduated from Tulane Law School in 1971. Sklamba's law practice focused on real estate, title insurance, probate, bankruptcy, creditors' rights, and consumer credit laws.

Sklamba served as Louisiana underwriting counsel for several major title insurers during the past 20 years. He has been a director on the board of the Louisiana Land Title Association (LLTA) since 1992, currently serves as co-chairman of the organization's legislative committee, and is a past LLTA president.

Sklamba was a member of the adjudicated properties committee of the Louisiana Law Institute and assisted with drafting a complete revision of the tax sale laws of Louisiana. He has frequently testified on behalf of the title insurance industry before the Louisiana Legislature. Sklamba also participated in drafting legislation creating the Louisiana Title Insurance Statistical Services Organization.

Pecoraro will be responsible for growing and maintaining relationships with WFG title agents in Louisiana, as well as Mississippi. She comes to the company having spent the past 15 years as an agency manager with one of the industry's largest title underwriters.

Before that, Pecoraro was a branch office supervisor for six years with Norwest, now a part of Wells Fargo Corporation. She began her career with 12 years in the legal industry. Pecoraro is a state notary in Louisiana, as well as a state signing agent.

Sklamba and Pecoraro will report to Charles Cain, SVP and agency manager for the Midwest region.

""Stephen and Liz are well-established and highly regarded by a wide number of independent agencies in Louisiana,"" Cain said. ""They understand the power and importance of the independent title agent in today's market, and work as hard as anybody in the industry to support the success of those agents.""

WFG National Title Insurance Company is a Williston Financial Group Company, which is currently licensed and operating in 39 jurisdictions nationwide.
