Federal Realty Promotes Dawn Becker to COO, EVP

Becker, who has been with Federal Realty for 13 years, was hired in 1997 to provide deal structuring and legal guidance to support the company's acquisition efforts. As part of the trust's change in business strategy, she was named to general counsel and became a part of Federal Realty's executive and investment committees. Becker's operational oversight began in 2006 when she was charged with overseeing all aspects of the trust's West Coast operations.

Since 2008, Becker has led Federal Realty's operations and efforts in all regions, including restructuring the trust's operational framework and staffing and implementing procedures to limit the company's financial impact associated with the economic downturn. In addition to her new operational responsibilities, Becker will maintain her role as Federal Realty's general counsel.
