Noted Commercial Real Estate Attorney Joins Thompson & Knight

The law firm of ""Thompson & Knight LLP"":http://www.tklaw.com/ recently announced the addition of Mark Weibel as a partner in the firm's Dallas office. Weibel joins the firm with his experienced team of four associates, including Bryan L. Larson, Bryan D. Garner, Christopher W. Neilson, and Shannon Fey Stapp.

Together, Weibel and his team will combine with Thompson & Knight's existing real estate, banking, and financing expertise to establish a capital markets practice group. This group will focus on the representation of special servicers in the commercial mortgage-backed securities market and other related loan workout environments as well as commercial real estate, structured finance, and business transactions.

Weibel has more than 20 years' experience representing clients in all types of commercial real estate matters, including serving as lead counsel in more than 500 transactions involving originations, workouts, securitizations, REMIC application and interpretation, public/private land development partnerships, and large-scale commercial real estate acquisition, disposition, development, and leasing projects.

Based on his work in structured finance and commercial real estate law, Weibel has been featured in the Best Lawyers in America, the Best Lawyers in Texas, and the Legal 500. In addition, he serves as a frequent speaker and panelist for commercial real estate industry and legal conferences.
