Gerner & Kearns Names New Associates

Cincinnati-based "Gerner & Kearns, Co., L.P.A.":http://www.gernerlaw.com (G&K) has named Margaret E. Cunningham and Erin K. McConnell as associates in the firm’s default services and real estate practice groups.
Cunningham received her juris doctor from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law and is admitted to practice law in the states of Indiana and Kentucky, as well as the United States District Court for both the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky. Cunningham's primary areas of practice at G&K will be mortgage banking litigation, consumer bankruptcy, title claims and review, residential and commercial real estate closings, and advising the firm’s clients with respect to specific case law, statutes, and house bills in her admitted states. Cunningham brings several years of experience to the firm in these areas both as a law clerk and in her practice experience.
McConnell received her J.D. from the Chase College of Law and is admitted to practice law in the state of Ohio. Since joining G&K in 2008 as a law clerk, McConnell has worked exclusively with firm’s founder and managing partner, David E. Gerner, in the areas of REO titles, title curative, title underwriting, and closing law. Her new focus will be acting as counsel to the firm’s REO practice group, where she will continue her focus in these areas as well as working with the firm’s title underwriters on claims issues.
