formation of MountainView Portfolio Analytics, a business unit specializing in valuation of residential whole loans, securitized loans, and REO.

The Denver-based company has been providing mortgage loan and mortgage servicing rights analytics and valuation services for over 20 years. MountainView says it decides to create a separate business unit focused exclusively on valuation of loans due to increased market demand for such services.

""MountainView and its predecessors have always been a leader in providing mortgage market participants with analytics related to the valuation of whole loans and servicing rights,"" explained Michael Morgan, CEO of MountainView Capital Holdings. ""The formation of MountainView Portfolio Analytics will formalize and expand the whole loan valuation work previously done within MountainView Capital Group and will complement the servicing rights valuation work done by MountainView Servicing Group.""

""Our recent clients for whole loan valuation include money center and multinational banks, hedge funds, pension funds and government agencies,"" added Sean Rowland, President of MountainView Portfolio Analytics.

Sean Rowland was hired to lead MountainView Portfolio Analytics and its expansion into securitized products. He explained that the company's client list for whole loan valuation has grown recently with the additions of money center and multinational banks, as well as hedge funds, pension funds, and government agencies.

""These clients chose us because we fully understand the accounting and market issues associated with mortgage assets, and we are excited to bring our knowledge and services out from behind the scenes of MountainView Capital Group,"" Rowland said.
