In his new role, Goldstein, who brings more than 17 years' experience in the financial services industry to the firm, is responsible for debt and equity placement for all commercial property types.
Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, he was VP of a commercial real estate firm in Washington, D.C., where he was responsible for the underwriting and placement of more than $2.5 billion of debt and equity. He was also an assistant VP at Branch Banking and Trust (BB&T).
Goldstein earned his B.A. in economics at the University of Arizona and his M.B.A. in finance and investments from the George Washington University. He is a member of the Greater Washington Commercial Association of Realtors and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties.
Jones Lang LaSalle's D.C. investment sales team has closed 15 transactions totaling $1.4 billion in sales and recapitalizations this year. Another six properties are currently on the market valued at approximately $900 million.
