With loss mitigation becoming an increasingly more important tool for the mortgage industry, Philadelphia-based "Radian Guaranty":http://radian.biz/, the mortgage insurance subsidiary of "Radian Group Inc.":http://www.radiangroupinc.com/, will begin offering to its customers loss mitigation training techniques and services from "CampusMBA":http://www.campusmba.org/, the education division of the Washington, D.C.-based "Mortgage Bankers Association":http://mortgagebankers.org/ (MBA).
The CampusMBA program is a series of five custom, hands-on, "boot camp-style" lessons for Radian Guaranty, which will be available to Radian's loss mitigation and customer service representatives. It provides education on common reasons for default, investor and insurer loss mitigation requirements, and workout options.
